Playing w 2 skeins so far. Exploring this quasi-autumnal cream speckled yarn from HedgeHog. Maybe add this darkish gray, a gold or golden brown, a deep blue, or maybe a deep berry brown? Pop a mohair note somewhere? It was hard to see in artificial light. Not sure about aqua for this #MKAL though. Note - color off in these shots

Something else = Wanting to make time/energy put into project all worth it... Creative thought & pondering. Shopping stash job - huge, w major disabilities at play right now. Swatching, re-swatching. The anticipation, awaiting 1st #MKAL clue. Knitting/frogging clue #1 multiple times. Screwing up early into clue #2. I think "If I frog it, I've wasted my time and energy. And that would be bad." So I put it away. Until #FinishOrFrogAlong! 😊 We need a therapist here, stat! 📢

Last update for now. March was once again two squares, both fortunately relatively easy so I was able to finish them long before the end of the month despite February's being evil. I'm really enjoying this KAL and can't wait to see how the blanket turns out.

A less boring day today but that's what lunch time is for.

The February pattern for the KAL was one square....That had to be repeated 6 times with different color combinations. I didn't finish them all until mid March because, despite how simple and easy it was, I had to restart the first square 3 times. I'm glad I'm done with the stupid things but maybe should have done what a few of the others are doing and spreading them out over the rest of the year.

Bored at work so minor update! I joined a mystery knit along blanket and I've been meaning to post about it but.... Meh.

Each month they send us 1-2 patterns to knit and at the end of the year we'll join them all together to get rather unique blankets.
