Looks like the Monthly Support poll is going strong still. This was the first one the supporters simply voted and the winner ended up being Rina from Mermaid Melody. After a group rewatch, Rina grew on me as the more mature of the main trio and confident, at least in the first season. I was happy to work on an art piece of Rina. I was worried mostly about the shading but while doing the shading it ended up looking fantastic! The pose ended up being more "what's in the inventory?" and landed on this one. More pinup but still overall really happy with the finished results!

It's May 1st which means it's...MerMay! The first thing that comes to mind for @twwk is the shoujo series, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch.

For me (@mdmrn), it's the 1975 adaptation of The Little Mermaid!

I'm shocked and excited to work on a new commission from Lymernil again! This time, it's of the Princess/Veronica again but as a Melody-style mermaid along side Lucia from Mermaid Melody. This ended up being inspired by https://www.deviantart.com/centaurworks/art/Mermaid-Princess-in-the-Moonlight-927560248, but instead two mermaids having a conversation at the moonlight. I think I'm just really proud of hoiw the shading came out here with the rim lighting of the moon behind the two. It was also fun to make a mermaid design for the character I just custom made. XD
