Petit bilan après avoir utilisé @Tusky de nombreuses années et #Moshidon depuis 2 mois.

Ce que j'aime bien chez #Tusky :
-la sobriété, les raccourcis # et @,
- l'historique des modifications sur les publications (facile à consulter).

Ce que j'aime bien chez #MoshidonApp :
- la traduction avec #LibreTranslate,
- l'ergonomie + switch avec Accueil-Local-Fédéré,
- les suggestions dans "Search".

Mais peut crash à l'écriture.

I often get 'TOO MANY REQUESTS' messages when trying to reply or boost something with #moshidonapp but #tuskyapp seems pretty reliable. A bit of a pain when it happens, and I have to switch apps to perform actions.

Been hearing some buzz about #moshidon for Mastodon so I decided to poke around with it for the first time... and I'm actually really liking it so far. Normally I prefer Tusky, but Moshidon's UI feels more polished in most respects. Gonna have to give this app a full test drive! #moshidonapp

I hate to say it but it's time to dump #moshidonapp -- again.

Now it has *two* major bugs I can't live with and, given that the first one never got solved, I just can't deal with it anymore. Sad. It's still my favorite #mastodon app. ☹️

If you're curious: it still crashes on hashtag completions and now it crashes whenever I try to load a saved draft (every time!). Maybe the latter is fixable, but I heard the team can't replicate the first one so...

Goodbye #moshidon I wish it wasn't so.

Ein Problem, vielleicht das einzige wirkliche Problem in @moshidon sind die sehr verzögerten Vorschaubilder (slow preview). Kennt jemand einen Trick, wie man die beschleunigen kann?

Ich nutze seit einigen Tagen für Mastodon die #MoshidonApp, die ein Fork von #Megadolon ist. Beide sind eine Weiterentwicklung der offiziellen Mastodon App für #Android.
Was mir gefällt:
Die Schrift ist im hellen Modus gestochener/kontrastreicher als in den anderen Apps, die ich getestet habe.
Ich kann innerhalb der App Follower anderer Accounts durchsehen (wenn diese das erlaubt haben).
Klares Design.
Das Icon schaut farblich aus wie die Bände der gebundenen Suhrkamp Ausgabe der Recherche. (Nun ja, ich find's halt schön)
Mich dran gewöhnen muß ich:
An das häufige Tippen für neuere Beiträge.
Die Vorschaubilder brauchen ein wenig, bis sie geladen sind.

Trying #moshidon #moshidonApp on my android for the first time . Was initially trying to find #megalodon #megalodonapp #megalodonforandroid but I think it's gone, shame as everyone really loved it! Anyway from the ashes rises MOSHIDON (was forked from Mega anyway which in turn was forked from #MastodonApp ) . Looks good so far. Viva MOSHIDON.

Hey #Moshidon users!
Does your timeline also just reset and scroll all the way up when you click on a link or change apps? I don't remember this happening in prior versions (a few updates before, I don't remember it that well) but it's been happening for a while.

Did I change a setting that cause this to happen? I tried messing with the settings but no avail. Turning auto load new posts off just caused the location to still reset but without getting new toots.

@damon it depends on my preferences.

For Android, I prefer @moshidon and @trunksapp .

For web, I prefer to use Mastodon Bird UI by @rolle via Stylus extension.

For desktop, I prefer @sengi_app .

For best tablet experience I prefer @Kaiteki@fedi.software / @kaiteki@social.kaiteki.app .

Sometimes I do use @elk and @phanpy on all devices.
