A very loose comic. The first panel has a digital voice saying: And this is your idea of being helpful. A figure in a hoodie and cargo pants replies "This is my idea of the opposite of being helpful. I am here against my will and you are going to regret that." A different person to the side covering their face said "Maybe you should go back in the bathroom and think about this a little more..." The final panel has the figure saying "I am done thinking" with the digital voice replying "That's obvious." The comic is stamped Murderbot network effect.

Still clipping along with “The Expanse”. Book 2 was still great and on to book 3. Also, since I have some time off soon, snagged “Murderbot”. Love checking out ebooks from my local public library!

#ScribesAndMakers 24 What's a work of science fiction that you love? What do you love about it?

Limiting my response to SF as such, for the past few years my favorite has been the #Murderbot series by Martha Wells.

A noirish, competent narrator in a well-envisioned SF world. (Hammett in space?)

The TV adaptation, very well done, is different in some interesting ways.

Unlike some people, I found the audio books jarring after having read the books in text mode: the voice was just... wrong.

@BernieDoesIt @artemis you would relate to #murderbot way more. It definitely doesn’t want to be human, and the idea that humans assume this is “the dumbest thing” it ever heard.
