Open mic jam last night at #Capitola Cork and Fork to benefit the small businesses hammered by #California #storms over the last few days. Capitola was my late mom's favorite beach town and I was happy to go play there and take pics and help lift some spirits. The wharf and esplanade were smashed up by 25-foot waves that tossed huge redwood trunks like matchsticks. It'll be a tough time getting back. (Waterfront damage photo by Samuel Thaler.)
