In Dec '24 I was in a hit and run accident with my new to me 2003 Toyota Camry, Rezmeralda. Poor baby took some damage, though she was still kind of driveable in the daytime, especially after I zip tied her bumper back in place sort of. I'd hoped to get her fixed once I was housing secure. In the meantime I stored it at a friend's and gave them a key in case it needed to be moved.

While at their place she sustained more body damage which I chalked up to being parked on the street. Come to find out that they've been driving it and that last night it broke down on the highway after a loud bang from the engine and they just left it on the shoulder.

I find out today if she's salvageable and, if so, I'm going to need help with repairs. They're taking care of the engine while I need to get the headlight and bumper fixed so I can drive it rather than "store" it.

A previous quote for the bodywork was $564.90. if you're of the mind to assist this will definitely help with my financial situation as I won't be dependent on Uber/Lyft anymore. If she's not able to be saved I'll be selling her for scrap and anything raised will be put back to use as a down payment on what will probably be a 2004 Toyota Camry which I'll name Rezmeralda Car 2: Electric LULULULULULU.
