Slim pickings on my #OpShop hunt yesterday, but I’m chalking this one up to quality over quantity.

As-new copy of ‘Canal Dreams’ by the late, great Iain Banks - one of just three of his non-SF books I have yet to read.

Not bad for the princely sum of $2.

Some time back I decided to try to collect original art: but it had to be lss than $50! Just found another watercolour of a beach shack on Rotto at the op shop. $15.

Four standup comedy DVDs: Dylan Moran ‘Live - Monster’, Lenny Henry Live - ‘So Much Things To Say’, and two Arj Barker discs - ‘Live’ and ‘Balls’.

We found an original painting in an op shop. It was in need of repairs to get the frame back together. Knowing DH has done this before, we bought it for $15.

I like it!

I managed to score a handful of books on #Australian #gardening and #aquaponics as well as natives and bulbs. All for under 8 dollars.
More and more I #optout and spend less in this #capitalist machine. Physical books (not digital) are an item that will never go to waste in my house.
