On 23 June 1985, #AirIndia flight 182 from #Canada to #India blew up killing all 329 passengers, mostly #Canadian. About the same time, a 2nd bomb exploded prematurely in #Japan, killing two baggage handlers.
The bombings were carried out by Canada-based #Sikhs in retaliation for #OperationBlueStar and remain Canada's DEADLIEST terror attack.
