Woke up to an email from the Poe mailing list, and unsurprisingly it was cryptic. It included a link to sign up for a new email list from something called Siren Society.
A little bit of a let down because it's yet *more* waiting for real news, but still, it's signs of Poe activity!

@thygrrr yes, tho the one depicted also did 10Base-T so maybe you had a different version.
Needless to say I do want to see something like an #Ethernet232 that in fact does regular Cat.5 and up RJ-45 8p8c cables. Maybe even supporting #PoE and beibg able to run off it for remote "wake by call".

這星期的不順感還在持續，雖都是小事，但累積起來實在很煩：
- 兌換全家拿鐵但回家打開蓋子時發現是美式，我就不喜歡喝美式，而且美式比拿鐵便宜… :angrycat:
- 訂速食後至櫃檯取餐時沒有先對一下袋內食物是否正確，回家後發現少一包薯條… :angrycat:
- 女兒感冒 :dogsad:
- 我被女兒傳染感冒 :blackcat_11134:
- 學校週五傍晚通知女兒班上出現腸病毒案例… :blackcat_11112:
- 在 #PoE 中要做一件裝備，但雖到做不出來快破產，直接 ragequit :blobugh:
- 發票沒中獎，查了一下發現已經一年沒中過發票獎項了 :dogsad:
- 同事出的文件好難讀，而且跟他溝通有障礙 :blob_ow:
- 女兒感冒所以沒有上體操課，通常都有人會願意救火代上課，但今天找不到救火的人，直接損失一堂課的錢 :blackcat_11134:
- 沒做什麼特別的事，但體重突然上升
I'm looking for a #POE device to run a #RaspberryPi 4b. Basically I want to use the POE switch to be able to power cycle the Raspberry Pi remotely.
I know there are various hats that will do POE but I have a heat sink on the Pi that I think would require higher standoffs which is annoying.

@hobbyblogging mir geht’s ähnlich und deswegen scheint mir der Sonoff Zigbee/Thread-Dongle (https://sonoff.tech/de-de/products/sonoff-dongle-max-zigbee-thread-poe-dongle-dongle-m) deutlich interessanter zu sein. Der kann Ethernet mit PoE, WLAN und USB – außerdem Zigbee und Thread gleichzeitig.
Ich habe den allerdings bisher nur auf der Beobachtungsliste, da bei mir die meisten Geräte kabelgebunden per KNX, 1wire, modbus, mqtt, … installiert habe.

I couldn't resist a Vincent Price #Bluray collection for $17 that included 4 of his Poe films with Corman and two of his later cult classic British films, plus a bunch of commentaries and interviews as rare in this era bonus content. Vincent is my favorite.
