The Mortdale Stake (Sydney Australia) received an email informing them the area had been selected for a Pilot Program named Informed Consent. The email included links to church sites for sources for all the statements. Good last May training day with our #ParaDragonboating team, Storm the Gorge. We've only had 7 team practices in #VictoriaBC's 1st #PilotProgram for #PeopleWithDisabilities, running out of #FairwayGorgePaddlingClub on Jutland in #BurnsideGorge area. After practice wrap debriefing, I performed an Indigenous water song, to honour the waters we train & will be racing on & to protect our team on the waters.

Today, we worked on more race stops, transitions & on improving team #paddling timing/synchronization.

I led a good warm-up before we started & was put into front near end of practice. Our coach is also training me on doing drumming/calling out paddle beats so I can go on multiple boats for races. Our first race is May 26th!
