Parrot’s Feather
Magical #MayDay hike. The whole landscape was glowing.
Sunshine and showers lit up the tiny sprouting leaves, both soft and harshly contrasted at the same time.
I get why the start of May was considered the start of the new year. The whole world exploding with life and colour.

Freshly watered plants near work #plantstadon
The beech trees decided its #autumn today.
So did the weather (rain forecast for the next week).
"Dramatic flip in temperature" has become the new normal pattern. Normally the trees turn slowly, some time between mid-September and early October.
I spotted the first yellow leaves yesterday morning, before I left to collect Cap whole branches had turned, with some crispy brown already and leaves on the ground..
A new design concept I'm working on, wall mounted plant shelf with specific sized succulent planter and a succulent propagation tray. Both with removable drain trays. What you think #plantstadon peeps?

Too much light, right?
My succulents are having a great time lately (lots of sun and a bit of rain) and have decided to flower! I can't see them from the sofa, so I have to go and crouch down to admire them 😍 pls enjoy the view with me

Monotropa uniflora, also known as ghost plant, ghost pipe, or Indian pipe, is an herbaceous perennial plant native to temperate regions of Asia, North America, and northern South America, but with large gaps between areas. The plant is sometimes completely waxy white, but often has black flecks or pale pink coloration. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotropa_uniflora #Flowers #Plantstadon #PhotoMonday #WildFlowers #GetOlympus #EM1ii #LoveVA
Hi #Plantstadon does anyone know what keeps causing this mould (I think it’s mould) to keep growing on the soil of my aloe vera plant?
I’ve cleaned it out before and changed the soil but it keeps coming back, none of his babies have had this issue??
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I’d greatly appreciate it I don’t want to lose him 😭
Already have a living room full, but I may have purchased a few plants via a local store sale, and it’s @Carole29’s fault for introducing me to it 😁 #plantstadon 🌱
My African milk tree’s first caregiver told me how to take cuttings without making a mess. Which is a wonderful help! Have you ever broken or cut into a euphorbia? They have milky white latex inside which is a terrible irritant. The milk tree especially so. It will pour like a stuck pig when you prune. SO you just drop the cuttings straight into a bowl of ice water and it stops instantly. Let dry off and callus a day, then plant. So easy to prop. #euphorbia #plants #plantstadon
I feel so lucky to be caregiver to this majestic African milk tree cactus. His main stems are 20+ years old, but most of the other growth is just from the last year or two because his last owner kept cutting him back. He’s had dramatic prunings, but he’s a giver. He’s gonna be my go-to for gifting unusual pups to local people who like plants! I shall take from him gently, rarely, and with gratitude.
