@finally_me be honest and upfront. If you are smitten with them, it's better to mention it and have them either accept it as a part of you or reject it. I don't "gauge" whether potential interests are open to #polyamory . I tell them I am poly and if they don't want that, then I move on.

@finally_me what I was trying to say with the "yes! especially in times of crises" option is that #polyamory #relationships could also be thought of as a solidarity network for mutual support in times of crises.

No matter if you are "wired for polyamory" or not, picking this option IMO acknowledges the solidarity aspect of it.

Dear other polyamorous folks,

I have a problem. I want to set up my notification on my phone so that each member of my polycule has a distinct tone.

So if Julz sends me a Signal message, my phone rings his tone. If he sends me an SMS, my phone rings his tone. If he sends me an email, my phone rings his tone. Etc.

Is there a solution to this other than going at it manually?

(It occurs to me that this problem happens in contexts other than polyamory. A parent could want each child to have a different tone, etc.)
