I am still getting the #email #notifications I requested about my WINGS_radio #mastodon #posts but the #Notifications #link is still #not #working if I try the link while I am simply logged in. However, if I open a notification email and come back to the Mastodon site that way, I can read my notifications! Awkward and mysterious.

Nice! Mastodon updated or something on iOS, and now I can get push notifications again!

For the record, my notifications were always on, but there had to have been a bug in the code that made the app not display them.

Now, I can see who interacts the second it happens!

Today I Learned: that one can set Android notifications for specific apps to be active (not-silent) AND you can set the notification SOUND to "None".

Why would I want this? Because it's nice to see in the notification bar that certain apps are happily running, and yet I HATE being disturbed by notification sounds. Best of both worlds!
