Day 11. I can't wear my immediate dentures today due to a bone coming out of one gum. It bumps against dentures, causing intense pain. I have another adjustments appointment at denturist for 1:30PM, tomorrow. I'll likely have to also get some adjustments on lower denture too because 2 spots are now rubbing against it & causing those areas to feel like a tight vise grip.
Yesterday, I had homemade chicken noodle soup & chocolate pudding & cup of oolong tea, for breakfast. I ate mashed potatoes & gravy with some steamed, softened broccoli & cauliflower, banana pudding & drank a glass of unsweetened soya milk for lunch. I adapted my Vietnamese bun rieu rice noodles(broken into small, no chew bits) soup for dinner. I had 2 containers of blueberry yogurt & cup of homemade iced lemon tea, with dinner.
Breakfast, today, was steamed rice with salted lime & minced chicken soup, banana pudding & chilled bottle of chocolate Ensure nutritional supplement drink. For lunch, I had more bun rieu rice noodles soup, a bowl of strawberry ice cream for dessert & large glass of honey sweetened, soya milk with ice.
I'm only 0.5lbs away from recovering my lost weight. Making more of our traditional foods & adapting them so I can eat without needing to chew. I don't do well when going without our cultural foods for too long.
