What service do you use to #share a bunch of #photos with friends and family (avoiding the obvious mega services available)? I'm looking for something with a low barrier web interface (no account, private link access), download capability, and maybe self-deleting after a few days. Preferably #privacyrespecting and #opensource.

I just tried Futo. Definitely worth checking out. After downloading the models, the app works completely offline, and with high precisition too! Such a #privacyrespecting #qualityoflife feature.

In these days, #AI has become so useful, that you're really lacking if you don't use it. It's kind of a #revolution in #tech. We really need a way of using AI in a #privacyrespecting way.

Over the time, i watched 3 major reasons why people #dontcare about their #privacy.

• They don't know how #invasive their devices are

• It's often more uncomfortable than using proprietary #ecosystems and requires you to think about what you are using

• Their friends do not use #privacyrespecting #alternatives, so they can't use them either.

What i really try to teach everyone is, that they don't just collect your #data but your whole personality. #youaretheproducttheyareselling. I bet not even your mother knows you as precise as #bigtech.

I just got a raft of bullshit #rightWing ads on #youtube. I've had an account there years before #google entered the picture. I even had Premium for a few years. I've been registered #ndp since I was 18. It sure as hell knows those ads aren't for me.

So, what gives? They must be awfully desperate to have to hurl ad money into the void by targeting #union members and #lefties.

@mhoye The sense of entitlement to my information makes me so angry. For the most part, I choose #FLOSS and #privacyrespecting tools out of sheer spite. A company has absolutely no right to know me better than my friends and acquaintances.

We've notice a marked increase in the use of #lazyLoading in the last few months, so TorBrowser and possibly other #webBrowers with #privacyRespecting modes need to think about ways to handle lazyLoading.

OPTIONS:

1) a #noScript-like method: Replace lazyLoadable images with a special image, while stating two options to the used "Enable scroll-triggered 'lazy-loading' of images on this page" and "Load all scrollTriggered content".
