I have a weird thing for late 60s and 70s #privatepress or #outsiderart albums, particularly psych-folk and the like. So many of these artists were part of the Jesus Freak subset of hippies that I have an unexplainable amount of technically Christian music that sounds kind of like of like 00s freak folk or indie psych-pop bands saved to my master playlist

I've had a nearly lifelong aversion to #psychedelic stuff as I came of age with punk-minded shit that was its antithesis, but my fascination with #privatepress albums of the 60s-80s has softened me to a least psych-folk stuff because that is SO much of the best stuff to come out of the sort of proto-indie private press scene.
