So a few days ago I got a strong urge to replay the #inFamous games, so I downloaded #RPCS3. I've been able to boot up and play the European version of inFamous 2 without much issue, both in Spanish and English; but when I try to boot up the European version of the first game, it will ALWAYS start up in French the first time (no matter what my system language is) and then will crash on boot up at every subsequent attempt.

What's up with that? Does anyone know? If I attempt to play with the US version of inFamous 1, will I have better chances?

Посыпаю голову пеплом про эмуляцию игр для Xbox 360. Некорректно утверждение, что у игр на PlayStation 3 может быть графика сильно хуже, чем у вариантов выпущенных под Xbox 360.
Надо просто аккуратно крутить настройки RPCS3-эмулятора:
[Settings] — [GPU] — «Default Resolution» выставить в «1080p»,
a рядышком «Resolution Scale» не трогать, оставив там «100% (1280x720) (Default)».

В итоге, та же игра, совершенно нормально работающая с такой же годной графикой, но без суеты вокруг эмулятора Xenia или форка Xenia Canary.
Т.е. можно ограничиваться PS3-вариантами, когда нужны эксклюзивы недошедшие до IBM PC, а оставшиеся лишь на консолях игровых. В общем и целом, на компе с Linux'ом выходит проще с PS3-вариантами.

Any #RPCS3 users know how to properly deal with rap files? I install the rap via the option in the file menu, but nothing seems to happen and the game is still as it was before. Note that I'm #blind, so drag 'n drop isn't an option. #emulation #Playstation3 #PS3

still on the #musou train. stepped away from #fireemblem warriors today because it is getting a little complicated and jumped back into #dynastywarriors #gundam 3. quite enjoying it and amazed at what #rpcs3 is capable of.

i don't think that the gundam musou is any less complicated than the fire emblem one, i've just kind of gotten myself into a space of decision paralysis with the latter.

#rpcs3 is an incredible piece of software. just saw some videos of it. I'm amazed at where emulation is these days.

@Le_bottin_des_jeux_linux I used #rpcs3 on my #Batocera build which was on a NUC, something a happened and now I can't get the NUC to power on. Probably what happen was a the CPU was fried. Anyway its great emulator when it doesn't fry your system (:
