My brother lent me an old ЗМ-5А (ZM-5A) 500 mm f/8 mirror lens and a 2× teleconverter.

This is the result of me playing with it yesterday. :) Five stacked exposures at 1/20 s each, ISO 640 each.

Effective focal length 1000 mm, equivalent of 2000 mm full-frame.

The lens is pretty much a compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with m42x1 mount.

For a mirror tele, the Canon Reflex Lens is quite large. It also provides surprisingly good sharpness and contrast for a mirror lens. I'll provide some example shots later.
