@xeenon Friendly reminder before next WWDC: Safari extensions on iOS would be amazing in third-party apps and SFSafariViewController! I hoping for this in iOS 19. Happy coding!

Recently switched to Safari as my main browser after years of using Firefox. Hit me with your favorite Safari extensions.

Argh!! So many bugs in mymind (capturing content is real hit-or-miss in Safari, autotagging is way off the mark, the two primary reasons for using the damned thing) and I can't tell whether it's the mymind software or if it's a result of the Apple Betas I'm foolishly rocking on all my devices. I want to hate mymind but I love it. I love it so much. #MyMind #software #beta #SafariExtensions

A screenshot of My Mind app. It features a wall of gathered clipped text, images, links, and text notes floating on a white background. A sliver of sidebar on the left contains icons for things like settings. At the top is a huge search field.

Trying out ProWritingAid Everywhere for Mac and ProWritingAid for Safari. Works great in Apple Notes and Scrivener (yay!) but I can't get it to work in Mastodon on Safari or in the Ivory app on Mac. Works on other websites and apps. Anyone know why this might be? Is there a setting to enable plugins on the server? prowritingaid.com
