I adore `scrcpy`. It has it's limitations (USB debug mainly), but I'm now updating software on 3/4 of my #Android devices at once.

Still no QPR1 Desktop Mode in #LineageOS 23.2?
Still no moving mouse cursor between connected display and phone screen?

Actually, I checked that with #Scrcpy
scrcpy --new-display=1920x1080

How do you actually now get the desktop mode over USB-C dock?
The "Mirror display" now actually does what it says, shows a copy of phone screen, probably because "Force desktop mode" is no longer present in Developer Options.

Any other #android enthusiasts looked into this? Any advice?

Also, das Tool #scrcpy mit dem Pixel 10, egal of Graphene oder Standard OS, läuft leider nicht vernünftig. Nach Beenden ist das Telefon irgendwie buggy, sodaß ich es neu starten muss. Da ist Samsung mit NEX und der Basis doch ne Ecke weiter.

用 #Android UiAutomation 和 performAction 输入非英文的方案大致上跑通了，这个方案只需要 Android 8
目前剩下的问题是 Chrome 地址栏还有网页里的输入框都不会正常发 accessibility event
还不确定的问题是有没有 app 不用系统 TextView，也不接 accessibility，而是直接接 IME 的 InputConnection，这些 app 就用不了
还有一点小限制，Android 只允许一个 UiAutomationConnection，就无法和其它测试框架一起运行，对普通 #Scrcpy 的用户影响应该不大

Seufz, bei 2578 offenen Tickets will man nun auch nicht dreist sein und nochmal pushen. Aber schön wäre es via Scrcpy Audio durchzuleiten zu den Hörgeräten.

Tatsächlich hat es bis jetzt aber mit AudioRelay auch immer gereicht.

Но вебка моего ноута решила навалить хоррора и выдала такую шакальную картинку, будто я подключился к созвону не из дома, а из колодца Самары Морган. Ощущение, будто каждый кадр несёт астматичный голубь‑стажёр пока видео пытается догнать хотя бы цифру 3 в слове «30 FPS». Рекрутерки, естественно, не были готовы базарить с кандидатом, который выглядит как архивная запись с камер наблюдения фонда SCP, и забанили меня ещё до того, как я успел спросить хорошо ли меня видно. Стало ясно, что про вакансии можно забыть пока я буду собеситься через эту камеру‑обскуру, которая по уровню детализации уступает даже кнопочному Самсунгу, пережившему две мобилизации и одно обрушение шахты. Что? Твоя вебка на ноуте тоже скулит «Верните мне мой 2007»? Или ты статный Linux‑PC‑боярин, у которого камер столько же сколько друзей в реальной жизни? Не беда — если у тебя под рукой есть более‑менее приличный Android‑смартфон, значит ты зашёл в правильную дверь.

It's just one of those small tools that you never want to miss after you learned of its existence.

Today, I just wanted to play some audio from my Android phone on a bluetooth speaker, but wanted the PC output on the same speaker.

First tried to use the PC as bluetooth audio sink for the phone and put the PC audio to the bt speaker. It did work in principle - but I got a lot of audio dropouts (might be related to the fact that I'm only using a prehistoric bluetooth 2.1 stick)

But

scrcpy --tcpip --no-video --no-control --audio-codec=aac --audio-bit-rate=256K

solved my problem by streaming the audio via WLAN instead 😃

Ce matin en voyant un post de @louisderrac j'ai installé LocalSend sur mon ordi linux. Très pratique !

Et je me demandais s'il existait déjà une liste partagée des logiciels à installer pour une utilisation avec élèves.
Une distribution comme #Primtux est déjà bien complète et possède une liste.

Quand j'installe #Mint j'ajoute toujours quelques logiciels en plus: #scrcpy #inkscape ... et maintenant #localsend
On pourrait la mettre sur le site #NIRD
