Hello Fediverse!
I'm wanting (once again) to work on migrating my archive for a long horror interactive-ish story (basically, story with parts for audience to vote at times) away from a giant series of google docs and to an actual website.
Problem being: a major use of font tricks to visually express things, like tiny subscript text for "that little voice in the back of your mind that says awful things", zalgo text for kind of a supernatural corruption, or even just weird keyboard smashes for more along the line of a software glitch.
Does anyone have a good solution for making something like this screenreader-friendly, or should I just mention upfront that there are some aspects that are just unfriendly due to formatting? Judicious use of aria-hidden and/or CSS to make a sort of alt-text for those segments? #a11y #screenreaderfriendly #helpwith
