Day 19 - #DecRecs

My rec for today is Black Butler! This is my favorite anime and manga and damn it, I want more people to get into it again!

I don't think I need to explain the plot lol...but the series is set in England in the late 1800's. It's about Ciel Phantomhive, the 12 year old earl and watchdog to the Queen of England that's tasked with solving (sometimes supernatural) cases with his demon butler Sebastian Michaelis.

If you watched the anime in it's heyday, I'm pleased to say that it's back, and that the animation quality is aloot better! There's shots of tea in the new season that almost look real! (And the ending song is done by SID!!)

The Public School Arc aired from April to June this year, and the Green Witch Arc is set to air April 2025. :annoyingdog:

The story in the manga has gotten really good as it's continued on, and it's been fun to watch Yana Toboso's skills improve over the years. Although I'd avoid looking a lot up if you care about manga spoilers. 👀

I just watched Kuroshitsuji Sono Shitsuji (Black Butler Picture Drama) and I am in love
It is so good and fun ~ I love that the VA's other roles are referenced and that the cast had fun with it.

A joy to watch.
This might just have become an annual Valentine's watch for me (^w^)
