then you have little Applets and Utilities like swiss army knives for chat and tools that can use local compute LLMs or cloud foundation models as well. #SetApp has one i use called #BoltAI and it's exactly what i said - a swiss army knife. image classification, search, prompt library of all manner of tasks you might need to quickly get a query and response from whatever models you use.

i use cmd+` all the time to cycle windows in foreground app. but can pluck individual ones from the sidebar? i also use a layer on my keyboard for cycling tabs/panes/windows with two keys.
many people like some window management type tools for #macOS (also in comments) there's at least a couple included in a #SetApp subscription, too!
I'm lucky enough to be travelling at the moment while still doing some work. I wish the developers at #Apple would get out more too because the ungodly amount of data the "Cloud Sync" service tries to download as soon as I'm on any WiFi network shows they hold other places with public/slower/limited internet access in contempt.
Fortunately #SetApp bundles the #TripMode utility I've used for years to cut off it's oxygen!
if you're interested in these agent AI platforms that use screenpipe and shoulder surf you all day long you may be more into Rewind for iOS which creates a timeline from browsing and screenshots that is actually quite good although the app is crash prone on my devices due to excessive compulsive capture.
also Timings.app (in #setapp) uses ScreenTime to monitor your activities during the workday or events across all iCloud devices without skimming your monitors and mics all day long. 🤷

I really like #MarsEdit for simple blog posting from the #Mac. It doesn't hold a candle to the #WindowsLiveWriter/#OpenLiveWriter apps on #Windows, but I don't spend as much time sequestered away in the back room where the ultra-technology lives and this app serves the minimal purpose I need it for.
I've been taking another look at #SetApp. Damn it. I don't have the money to spare on a sub right now but it includes MarsEdit, #Dato and some other Mac stuff that I like. Hmm.
App Review: Setapp, The Best App Subscription For MacOS And iOS
As the famous saying goes, “there’s an app for that”. However, finding the best app that fits your work style or what you need to be most productive can be quite the challenge. This was and actually still is very true for me since I recently moved from using Windows to MacOS full-time. Good news is, this is where Setapp comes into play.
What Exactly Is SetApp?
What is Setapp you ask? While I’ll give you a lot more details below, Setapp by MacPaw is a subscription platform that gives you access to well over 240 premium MacOS and iOS apps for one small monthly or yearly price. This allows you to try and use hundreds of apps without having to pay for each individual app.
The cool thing about Setapp is, they offer you a slew of apps from all sorts of categories from productivity, task management, creativity all the way to coding, finance, Mac hacks, maintenance and much more.
