The Lagos State Police Command has taken decisive action against the senior pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, Chris Okafor.
Commissioner of Police Olohundare Jimoh ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, to launch an immediate inquiry into the cleric following a series of damaging allegations. Police Public Relations Officer Abimbola Adebisi confirmed the development to pressmen in Lagos.
Adebisi stated that the CP directed the SCID to invite the pastor for questioning, noting that the investigation would proceed even though no victim has filed a formal complaint yet.
