Tamil Nadu News: तमिलनाडु के तिरुपत्तूर जिले में मंदिर पुजारी गिरफ्तार का मामला सामने आया है। अंबूर के नागनाथ स्वामी मंदिर के मुख्य पुजारी त्यागराजन पर एक युवती ने यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया। यह मंदिर हिंदू धार्मिक और धर्मार्थ बंदोबस्ती (HR&CE) विभाग के अधीन है। शिकायत के बाद पुलिस ने पुजारी को पुडुचेरी से गिरफ्तार किया। यह घटना स्थानीय लोगों में आक्रोश का कारण बनी।
शिकायत और पुलिस कार्रवाई
मंदिर में सफाई कर्मचारी के रूप में काम करने वाली 28 वर्षीय युवती ने शिकायत दर्ज की। उसने बताया कि त्यागराजन ने शादी का झांसा देकर उसका उत्पीड़न किया। शिकायत के बाद पुजारी फरार हो गया। अंबूर ऑल विमेन पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज की मदद से उसे पुडुचेरी में रिश्तेदार के घर से पकड़ा। भारतीय दंड संहिता की चार धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज हुआ। पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर रही है।
HR&CE का निलंबन आदेश
मंदिर पुजारी गिरफ्तार होने के बाद HR&CE विभाग ने तुरंत कार्रवाई की। त्यागराजन को मंदिर के कर्तव्यों से निलंबित कर दिया गया। विभाग ने नए पुजारी की नियुक्ति की मांग का जवाब नहीं दिया है। जांच जारी है, और विभाग मंदिर की पवित्रता बहाल करने के लिए कदम उठा रहा है।

I never wanted to announce my engagement nor did I want to ever marry someone. Though, during my bikepacking trip from Germany to Turkey I had to point out several times that I am engaged.
I met many kind people who helped me with food, water, knowledge, encouraging words, and shelter. But also I met people who were nice to me because they covertly wanted to have s✨x. All of them were men. Once they invited me for dinner or gave me a hitchhike, they started telling me that I was beautiful, pretty or sweet and asked whether I was married, whether I wanted to stay at their home or hotel etc. I persistently declined & repeatedly told them that I was engaged.
None of them physically attacked me. But some crossed my limits by touching my shoulders, hugging me, or giving me kisses on my cheek. Sometimes I was too weak to fight off the harassments. E.g. after I just climbed 2000 meters in the Balkans. I was exhausted. My body could barely move anymore. Nor my mind.
It is not about you not being able to fend off their assaults or only about s✨xual harassment in particular. It’s about men not respecting boundaries. For example, one men drank alcohol while he was driving, even though I told him not to. We ended up in a police control. Luckily we didn’t have any accident and the Turkish police was only interested in harder drugs. But it could have turned out differently.
Violence against women, non-binary, trans-, inter- and agender folks is commited everywhere on this planet. In some countries more often than in others. But it‘s something present everywhere you go. Regarding the perpetrator it is not primarily about religion. Nor about ethnic affiliation/ascription. And never it is about skin color. It‘s about men. Men harassing, intimidating, hurting, and even murdering non-male persons because patriarchy taught them that they were superior.
They are not.

Meghalaya News: शिलांग में स्कूली छात्रा से छेड़छाड़ का चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया। एक नकाबपोश व्यक्ति ने छात्रा की स्कर्ट उठाकर तस्वीरें खींचीं, जिसका वीडियो वायरल हुआ। मेघालय पुलिस ने तीन दिनों में असम के जोरहाट से आरोपी हिमान गोगोई (24) को गिरफ्तार किया। यह घटना उमसोहसन में 23 मई 2025 को हुई। पुलिस ने दूसरा मामला भी उजागर किया।
वायरल वीडियो से शुरू हुई जांच
24 मई 2025 को सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ, जिसमें नकाबपोश व्यक्ति ने स्कूली छात्रा के साथ छेड़छाड़ की। वीडियो में वह छात्रा की स्कर्ट उठाकर तस्वीरें लेता दिखा। सीसीटीवी फुटेज ने पुलिस को जांच में मदद की। पूर्वी खासी हिल्स पुलिस ने तुरंत विशेष जांच दल (SIT) गठित किया। यह घटना शिलांग में सुरक्षा पर सवाल उठाती है।
आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी
26 मई को SIT का गठन हुआ, जिसकी अगुवाई अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक इवान बी डिएंगदोह ने की। तीन दिन में पुलिस ने हिमान गोगोई को जोरहाट से पकड़ा। 28 मई को लाहदोईगढ़ चौकी के साथ छापेमारी कर उसे बामकुराचुआ गांव से गिरफ्तार किया। पुलिस ने उसका मोबाइल और अन्य साक्ष्य जब्त किए। यह त्वरित कार्रवाई पुलिस की सक्रियता दर्शाती है।
दूसरा मामला आया सामने
जांच के दौरान 19 मई को पुलिस बाजार के ड्रीमलैंड के पास दूसरी छात्रा से छेड़छाड़ का मामला सामने आया। सुबह 7:15 से 7:30 बजे के बीच यह घटना हुई। सदार पुलिस स्टेशन में FIR दर्ज की गई। दोनों मामले POCSO एक्ट और भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धाराओं के तहत दर्ज हैं। यह खुलासा चिंता बढ़ाता है।
कानूनी कार्रवाई
उमसोहसन मामले में लुमडिएंगजरी पुलिस स्टेशन में FIR नंबर 55(05)2025 दर्ज हुई। धारा 76/79 BNS और POCSO एक्ट की धारा 11/12 लागू की गईं। पुलिस बाजार मामले में FIR नंबर 140(05)2025 दर्ज हुई। गोगोई को जोरहाट कोर्ट में पेश कर ट्रांजिट रिमांड लिया गया। उसे शिलांग कोर्ट में पेश किया जाएगा।
पीड़िता की पहचान और जांच
पुलिस ने उमसोहसन मामले की पीड़िता की पहचान कर ली। उसका बयान दर्ज किया गया। घटना 23 मई को सुबह 6:35 बजे YWCA की गली में हुई। दूसरी पीड़िता की भी जांच हुई। पुलिस ने दोनों मामलों को संवेदनशील माना। विशेष रिपोर्ट केस के तौर पर इनकी निगरानी हो रही है।
पुलिस की चेतावनी
पूर्वी खासी हिल्स SP विवेक स्येम ने लोगों से नाबालिगों से जुड़े वीडियो शेयर न करने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि सीसीटीवी फुटेज ने जांच में अहम भूमिका निभाई। गोगोई के खिलाफ जोरहाट में भी एक मामला दर्ज है। यह घटना समाज में जागरूकता की जरूरत दर्शाती है।
सुरक्षा पर सवाल
