light bleeding is fixed with the 4 layer design, programming pin is on the "wrong" SAO pin ofc, but yay! not sold on how sharp the jaw line and eye sockets are now, since theyre on the second layer. First CH32V003 design, programmed with the hackaday badge as a programmer!
Hey #Badgelife creators, fans, or collectors. Read and boost this!
In January I will be in DC for some meetings. Because I will be there anyway, I reached out to some of the curators at the Smithsonian to ask them to meet. To my surprise, they accepted!
I want to bring them some awareness of the Badgelife community and projects, because I think Badgelife represents an incredible amount of creativity, innovation, and technological advancement, and it's happening right under everyone's noses!
So I'd like to ask: If you had an opportunity to share something about what Badgelife means to you, how it is advancing human ingenuity, or just what it means for creativity in the 21st century: What would you like me to share with the folks at the Smithsonian about Badgelife?
Share your pics. Share links to your projects. Share your stories of playing weird proximity games over NFC or wifi. Why do electronic badges make you happy? How do people use them to tell stories? Tag it #SmithsonianBadgelife so we can find it and collect it to hand over to them.
Please spread far and wide. I'd like to get as much community feedback as possible to share with them.
Thank you in advance.

OSHpark lost the shipping race to my sisters place, but I also ordered some with my updated TARS boards from jlcpcb to my place. I feel horrible for ordering purple ENIG at JLC, but it is what it is.
I definitely need to work on the animation and I should touch up some of the copper fills, but this looks great!

(deleted first post, bc visability was set wrong)
I made a GIF.
If you're attending @hackaday 's supercon this year and have heard about the SAO (simple add-on) contest, but feel overwhelmed with the options and possibilities:
Why not create a little Add-on for my add-on as a warm up? :D It definitely took inspiration from the saintcon minibadges, but has less pins to cover. I made some small badges to get started, check them out over on the hackaday projects platform.

Hey hackers and on #hackadayio :
More SAO, less SEO! Please!
Save to say that I can start to think about a revision of the simple add-on sticks that I made to display my simple add-on collection. Would be cool to have some functions like "restarting" badges and use an IO expanders to be able to control the 5th and 6th pin.
