“Small Axe” ist nur bis 17.4. verfügbar. Produziert von Steve McQueen, der auch am Drehbuch beteiligt war. Diese Serie ist in vielerlei Hinsicht besonders. Es geht um den Emanzipationskampf der Schwarzen-Immigration im UK. Jede Folge hat einen inhaltlichen Schwerpunkt. Mal ist es die rassistische Polizei, mal die Justiz, mal die Musik. Die Musik, besonders die Musik. Sie nervt nicht, im Gegenteil. Sie ist inhaltlicher Kommentar und Verstärkung der Filmbotschaft – sie ist grossartig, und ausschliesslich Schwarz.
Wieder da: “Andere Eltern”, nur bis 16.4., vielleicht mancher*m etwas zu klamaukig, sich über “woke” Eltern lustigmachend. Könnte für hauptamtliche Pädagog*inn*en aber befreiend lustig sein. Ich bin keiner, und habe mich gut amüsiert. Starkes spielfreudiges Ensemble. Vielleicht das beste Element: die zwischengeschnittenen Bilder des hässlichen Köln – üblicherweise ein sinnfreies Übergangselement – hier spricht die Optik zu uns, sehr gut ausgewählt, Kompliment! Blamabel dagegen, dass das Ding nicht vom ansässigen WDR, sondern vom “fernen” ZDF gemacht werden musste.
