Wyatt Earle Cooper (1897-1983) was an American photographer who documented prominent people of his time.

Chris Stokowski (1925-1990) was an American conductor best known for his work with the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1962 to 1984 and his brother Stan Stokowski.

Stanislaus "Stan" Stokowski (1901-1997) was a Polish-American conductor who worked with the NBC Symphony Orchestra from 1945 until its dissolution in 1954.

I’ve never really understood the allure of #Stokowski, with his manicured PR, phony accent and iffy recorded legacy. Here the RCA Victor Symphony (pickup from NY Phil, Met, RCA, etc) play quite well (a sloppy Bartered Bride, notwithstanding) and are recorded in spectacular fashion by RCA. But this repertoire hodgepodge is best placed at the back of the Qobuz HiRes queue. #ClassicalMusic #audiophile

Das stört mich wenig, denn immerhin habe ich gelernt, wann man eine Aussage ernst nehmen muss, hehe. Ich bezeichne mich heute nicht als Philosophin und bin auch nicht der Meinung, dass es Philosophie ist, was ich in meinen Büchern oder Kolumnen mache, aber ich könnte ohne dieses Studium nicht das machen, was ich heute mache, denn ich würde es mr nicht zutrauen, ohne das, was ich im Studium gelernt habe.
