Today was down to Strahan and the Wilderness Railway, A unfortunately found the train trip a bit boring at 50 minutes each way, but after that we went over to Ocean Beach, which was absolutely lovely. Barely a breeze and sunny and warm on the sand really. A little stream that emptied into the ocean was my inspiration for the day, the different sand colours, made for mesmerising patterns. Unfortunately even in this most remote beach, there's fucking plastic washing up though. Sigh. Sunset was stunning back in Queenie.

The dense rainforest of the UNESCO Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area is so dense, you can barely see more than 5m in front of you. Almost every surface is covered in thick layers of moss.
