A late #superb_owl submission. I don’t often get owl visitors in my yard but here’s the last one I had. It was just trying to catch some Zzzzzz’s but the crows wouldn’t allow it. I thought it looked a lot like a Furby.

Two long eared owls screenshot from the Owl Research Institute camera on explore.org. And they are soooo cute, like fluffed out, trying to stay warm bird stuffies on branches. It is all sucked in little heads, tufted ears and very rounded bodies.

My contribution to #SuperbOwlSunday, I decided to do a 1 hour painting of an owl that I found on wikipedia. I finished in 47 minutes in part because I got frustrated, but the finished piece isn't too bad for a quick sketch!
