Recently, I tried playing a round of #SuperTuxKart on the local network but was (again) annoyed by my game client being unable to discover the server. Usually in such cases, the reason is my #nftables configuration blocking something.

So #SuperTuxKart has a Football / Soccer mode where instead of racing around the tracks, you team up with 4 karts a side to push a giant football into the other team's goal. That's a real surprise and quite a formidable idea. I don't I ever saw this concept in another racing game!

The only thing is that since karts can't really "kick," you end up more of like pushing or carrying the ball over, which resembles a sort of rugby gameplay. Or something out of the Top Gear show :P
