My TEAC 32-2B is home and operational again. Turns out it’s a rare one, actually being a Tascam X-10 disguised as a TEAC 32-2. I guess that’s why they added the “B.” It has 2 drive belts instead of 1, but the kicker is that it supports both NAB (North American) and IEC (European) EQ with a push button on the front panel. #GearHunter #MusicProduction #Analog #ReelToReel #Tascam #TEAC

2nd market availability is good, but it's always a gamble. I'd Google first if there is a service manual and spare parts available. Prefer popular brands like #Technics and #Sony.

Tape deck is like car, it needs both regular use and maintenance to keep it working. It's fun!
