Recently I've seen the first several episodes of Showtime's 2022 series The First Lady.

I like the history, and seeing the heroic actions of three first ladies of the United States: Eleanor Roosevelt, Betty Ford, and Michelle Obama.

It also highlights the cowardice of Gerald Ford in pardoning Richard Nixon, letting off the hook his cronies Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney.

This set a dangerous precedent for lawlessness in our nation's top office, opening the door to other blatant increasingly criminal actions by the lot, especially Reagan and Trump.

It's worth a look, if you can stomach it.
