𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 - 𝟭𝟮 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿

More than half of the world’s population still can’t access essential health services. One in four people face financial hardship paying for health care – often sacrificing basics like food, education, or housing.

Health for all is key to achieving sustainable development. When people get affordable care, communities become stronger and more resilient. When they don’t, health and financial problems worsen.

On this #UHCDay, we call on leaders to protect people from high out-of-pocket costs and invest smarter in health care. Everyone deserves access to affordable, quality health services.

Let’s stand together to make health coverage universal. Because #HealthForAll means a better future for everyone.

I've been a bit absent from social media lately. I haven't been feeling any better, so I went to the hospital yesterday (UPA Sul in Florianópolis). I was treated very well. They ran several tests, and in the end, the doctor diagnosed me with Acute Sinusitis and suspected a bacterial infection. She prescribed several medications, including antibiotics — and the best part: I got everything for free. The entire treatment was free of charge. Long live SUS, Brazil’s Unified Health System.
