@Vivaldi When moving or copying an email to another folder (tag in Gmail), #VivaldiMail displays the full email address instead of the account name I've assigned (e.g., it's "Gmail" in my setup) along with a lengthy description ("from folder"). This results in an unnecessarily long submenu, as illustrated in the screenshot.

I suggest redesigning this menu for a more streamlined user experience!

Providing only the account name and the source folder name (e.g., "Gmail > Inbox") would suffice.

@point5a @Vivaldi @johnbeen So, I happened to get my #VivaldiMail address, after all. I previously did it, but I still need to set it up in on my #MacBook app for downloading. Meanwhile, I also now have a secondary #Mastodon account at #VivaldiSocial.
I have also been completing my #Fediverse, #Mastodon, #BlueSky, and other connections at #WordPress, thanks to #ActivityPub, #Jetpack, #Webfinger, #Friends, #Hum, #Webmention, and other #plugins. Thanks also to people like @pfefferle and many others who have been making these plugin applications happen over the years. Big improvements! Almost there in my setup… getting better everyday. I’ve been incredibly productive, and on the way! Thanks to the community here!! @mastodonmigration too.

@epp Oh, I've gotten protonmail to work with Vivaldi through that method already. I'm extremely happy with Vivaldi's mail client. I just wish I could set up automatic email forwarding in the rule system so I could have crucial intake emails sent to responsible parties before I get them. But besides that, Vivaldi is absolutely fantastic and I recommend it to everyone I do business with who has multiple email accounts. #email #emailclient #Automation #Vivaldi #vivaldimail

@thinkStory I am not aware of any extensions for #VivaldiMail, and despite my best efforts as a dedicated user I am pretty sure that the user base is still negligible compared to #Thunderbird, so even if it's technically possible I don't think they would do the work.

@ramon @madewithjello When I first started using #VivaldiMail when it was in beta, it did do some rudimentary spam filtering. I used to use Popfile back in the day and have never understood why more clients didn't integrate it.

#VivaldiMail never had client-side spam filtering (bayesian or similar). It's only rely on server-side spam detection and sync the Spam view (folder).
But you can also create your own basic filters to automatically mark as Spam, if needed.

Vivaldi Mail - Confusing Naming

Both @Vivaldi Browser e-mail client and #Vivaldi e-mail service are called as #VivaldiMail. This is so confusing and sometimes annoying like Microsoft Outlook and Outlook.com. So, it's better that if Vivaldi renames it's e-mail client. "Aria" or "mailV" can be good!
