I tried #Vivaldi for a week. Is there a way to ensure the order of tabs when using option+cmd+arrow-keys to switch between them is the actual oder on screen? I’d love to keep using it for a while longer, but pressing option+cmd+right-arrow and ending up in the third tab of a different tab group is driving me nuts!

I've been hanging onto Arc browser for a long time, but trying to switch to #Vivaldi browser now. I love their values, and stance on (against) AI. I've customized Vivaldi to be as Arc-like as I can, but one thing I still miss is the swiping/side-scrolling between workspaces.

J'ai contourné le problème en chargeant la config depuis un fichier .json. J'imagine que ça pourrait servir à d'autres personnes, je vais tenter de trouver où mettre ça sur un des forums (pas gagné, je m'y perds toujours...)

Piggybacking on the previous tip about opening a group of synced tabs on desktop, let’s look into how you can open all synced tabs in Vivaldi on Android and iOS.

To open synced tabs:

1. Make sure you’re logged in to Sync with the same Vivaldi account on all devices, and that tab syncing is enabled.
2. Go to the Tab Switcher > Synced Tabs.
3. Long-press on the device you want to open synced tabs from.
4. Select “Open all” from the context menu.

To open just one specific tab, simply tap on the tab entry on the list.

長いこと :vivaldi_red: デスクトップでは

* 下部のステータスバーにアドレスバーの機能をマージ
* アドレスバーは下部に配置&基本非表示（メールの時だけ表示される）

という設定にしてたけど、
タブバーもアドレスバーも上部にない状態だと、

* デフォルトでは #macOS デフォルトのウインドウに表示されるタイトルバーが表示されてしまう
* それを #CSS で隠したとしても左上の信号ボタン 🔴🟡🟢 だけは消せない

という状態になっちゃうので、

* 左サイドに置いたタブバーの上部に 🔴🟡🟢 を表示するためのスペースを空ける
* 左サイドにタブバーがない時（自分はタブバーをけっこうな頻度で隠す）は Web ページ領域に 🔴🟡🟢 が重なることを許容する

と言う工夫・妥協が必要だったので、思いきって逆にステータスバーを非表示にして、上部に表示したアドレスバーにステータスバーの機能もマージする、という感じにしてみた。

こうすることで

* 基本的にはアドレスバーは非表示にすることはないので 🔴🟡🟢 がWeb ページとかに重なることが少なくなる

ので、不自然な見え方になるケースが減るのではないかという仮説を検証していく生活にこれから入っていく。
