Does anyone know why #qgisserver does not render a vector tile layer to serve it in #WMTS ? I would like to use it to serve classic XYZ raster tiles rendered from #PANORAMAX's vector tiles to organize my collection more easily. I asked here: https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/475405/render-vector-tiles-layer-with-wms-wmts-qgis-server
So today i had a strange revelation which has the potential for a PSA in #gischat : while our #mapcache powered #wmts for #historicalmap in Hessen has worked from the start in #qgis i have received reports from #arcmap users (v10) that they could not use the service. It was showing the notorious red exclamation mark. Not being #opensource there was no way to determine the reason it failed. Turns out it was a colon in the scale (1:25.000) in the metadata title Tag. IMHO a tale to #switch2qgis
Hey #OpenStreetMap, #JOSM community - what could be the reason for an #WMTS service (https://lvmgeoserver.lvm.lv/geoserver/gwc/service/wmts) to fail in JOSM with "stream is closed"?
Additional detail in https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/22869 .
Registrations are open for the Tiling Interfaces Code Sprint - featuring not only APIs, but the vector tiling extension to #Geopackage 🚀 . It's important to note that in-person registrations will close on the 10th of May! https://developer.ogc.org/sprints/21/ #tiles #API #Openapi #REST #geospatial #OGC #WMTS #DGIWG
