#TIL that two states (ME, VT) and Washington DC allow voting by people who are currently incarcerated. And that my state, #washington , is debating a bill to allow it too. I say yes. If we're going to imprison people under the guise of "rehabilitation," then we should actually do things that try to rehabilitate.

I just unsubscribed from the #WaDems mailing list because I’ve gotten two “emergency” emails in two days about a possible republican challenger for an election nearly 2 years from now. Sure seems like other things would be more important to drag my attention to.
