🌟 Mercury’s Rocking a 24-Million-Kilometer Comet Tail 🌟
Mercury’s looking more like a comet this week! Its 24-million-km sodium tail was photographed on Dec. 3 by Steven Bellavia. Sunlight blows sodium from Mercury’s thin atmosphere, giving the tail its yellow glow.
