With the silhouettes of some partially snow-covered trees and a white cloud in focus, the camera was moved from the upper right to the lower left shortly after sunset. A few small pinkish hues are visible. The result is reminiscent of flowing fabric or a wind-rippled water surface.

A large glass sphere was placed on a small glass pedestal on freshly fallen snow at night. A reflector was positioned behind the sphere, and a much smaller glass sphere in front of it. The entire setup was illuminated with white LED light. The reflector is subjected to a distorted point reflection from both spheres. The reflection from the smaller sphere resembles a snake's head.

$The same reflector was placed on a CD, and the small glass sphere was placed on top of the CD. A glass cylinder without a base was placed on the CD and reflector. The whole assembly was illuminated with white LED light, and due to the refraction of light caused by the CD, many spectral colours appeared. The cylinder reflects the reflector in a distorted way.$

Black and white mushrooms have grown on a log, their fruiting bodies resembling thin, crooked twigs. A leaf, of which only the ribs remain, clings to the log, and more brown leaves lie scattered around it. A little moss can be seen in the foreground.
However, none of this is visible in the image, because the log was illuminated from the right with spectral green light and from the left with spectral blue light. Therefore, the leaf veins and some other parts of the logappear cyan (additive color mixing); the image shows no colors other than green, blue, cyan, and also black and white, which are not colors.
