Hab mich heut mit #WSA (#WindowsSubsystemForAndroid) beschäftigt - also Android-Apps unter Windows 11 laufen lassen. Nach einigen Schwierigkeiten läuft es jetzt recht flott. In WSA kann auf lokale Win-Dateien zugegriffen werden, so dass die App-Backups direkt in der #Nextcloud unter Win abgespeichert und synchronisiert werden können. Regelmäßiger Import/Export der Backups von #NewPipe, #DroidShows und #AntennaPod ist für mich ein Kompromiss mit dem ich leben kann.

My first foray into #WindowsSubsystemforAndroid was to install #FediLab on #windows11. #Microsoft tied #WSA to #AmazonAppStore. Using Amazon's walled Android garden is obnoxious. Relating the two apps by default is decidedly anti consumer. #FDroid, #presearch, and perseverance to the rescue, though. This is my first post from the app on my desktop.
