All of you taking photos: I wonder if you really see what's here or if you're so concerned with getting that perfect shot that you've forgotten this is a tragedy site, not a tourist attraction. As I continually had to move "out of someone's way" as they carefully tried to frame this place mourning. I kept wondering what makes us think we can capture the pain, the loss, the pride and the confusion - this complexity - into a 4 x 5 glossy. I love my city. Firegirl, NYC. 09/17/01

I never claimed to be an expert on US politics (or Canadian politics for that matter) but how the destruction of the #WorldTradeCenter was handled (or rather, NOT handled) killed any notion I had of "both sides being the same."

Had a lovely disruption today, for our large class of new Summer Associates. We're at the top of Seven World Trade & during this morning's technology training session, window washers rolled past the huge conference room with views North. We decided to wave, some saying "they can't see us" but they waved back! (I was supporting remotely after saying hello & grabbing a cinnamon roll, but I've seen them in years past)

Schon auch #WTC, aber in dieser anderen Stadt, in der am 11. September Gebäude einstürzen?

Sollte ursprünglich mal deutlich höher gebaut werden, das wurde so aber weder finanziert noch genehmigt. Evtl. ganz gut, bedenkt man dass es viele Jahre zu großen Teilen leer stand?
