I work in an academic library & love how diverse my job is. On any day I could be looking up legislation or reference troubleshooting (APA7 & Harvard here) or proofing ppts or researching or changing passwords or locating books on the shelf or designing posters or giving workshops on how to use the library or managing reading lists.
