Playing #TOTK in Japanese makes me regret ever playing #BOTW in English. I’ve always been an #anime sub type of person but I remember seeing people gush about how good #Frieren’s English dub is - thought hey maybe I’ll try to have a listen and… nope. Japanese media is often amazing in its own language but hard cringe in anything else, esp English. The only exception I’ll give is to #HideoKojima #games lol - cos they’re all very western-centric. I do love #FFVII’s dub too though bcos I grew up with #CrisisCore on the #PSP and the #AdventChildren movie, but I’ll prolly play it in Japanese whenever I get my hands on the remakes - ESPECIALLY since they changed Zack’s voice (I will never forgive them for this) 😭

In this episode, the ReShoot crew asks the age-old questions. Specifically, "What the Hell even is that?" and "Why are the children in this movie? Is it just for the cool title?"

I've been attempting to watch the movie Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children. #FFVII. Tonight will be my 3rd viewing. I think I grasp the big picture. But the action feels so... convoluted, haphazard, random. I was amazed by the 1st FF movie and hoped this would be similar. It doesn't feel similar. But it's been a while and it's possible my memory picks and chooses highlights. I'll watch it again. What did you think of #AdventChildren?
