The photographer holding an excessive handful of tomatilloes that were just picked. It has a husk on it that covers the pale yellow or green fruit.

The rhubarb I relocated to the new location is still growing into August. In the old location it would wither away by July so maybe it was just too shaded. I haven't even been watering this area that good, only when I notice the sunflowers looking a bit wilted.

Maybe I'll get to complain about too much rhubarb next year.

Rhubarb plants from transplanted crowns over the winter growing in the hot August sun. The plants are about 2 feet tall and there are about a dozen stalks visible on the one plant that is most of the photo. Beyond the plants is a compost bin with some freshly cut rudbeckia on top of the pile of dry brown other things. There is lots of white morning glory around and catnip.
