I just finished watching an hour of the Jennifer Lopez movie "Atlas" on Netflix.
The plot is kind of silly, the dialogue is painful and predictable and Lopez isn't believable in the role.
I think I knew it was over for me as I watched the scene where her robo-pod was overtaken by a battleship as both objects fell out of orbit and toward the surface of the planet.
I'm not a physics guy but I think I remember that absent air resistance, objects fall at a uniform rate.

This is what bad Science Fiction looks like. Not because doing just graphics has never been enough for SciFi, nor because there is no 'science' to it at all, but because there is no story and no answer to any question whatsoever; it's just vanity at its worse, and pompous nonsense.
