A month of flat lays of the outfits I wore in May 2025 in a calendar format in the Indyx app. 15 of them are femme presenting, and 16 masc presenting.

Gender is weird. I sometimes find myself choosing my gender for the day based on what clothes would be fun. But it is #gender for me - how I want the world to perceive and treat me - it's not just what I'm wearing, even though it started with what I decided to wear today.

Also, if you write gender too many times, it looks like it's spelt wrong.

Well some good news for once - my drivers licence came back fully updated to male and a photo that actually looks like me. I'd not bothered to get it updated, but with recent events with the government I decided now was the time. So, I now have full legal recognition as male.

I'm not comfortable marking these milestones as it can make me dysphoric funnily enough. But I'm glad I've actually finished off all the paperwork that comes with being trans.

Guess I'm now moving onto the next stage of being trans in the UK - fighting to retain my legal recognition as male.

about me: i'm a... FTM guy i guess. living in the netherlands but don't come from here. for years have been holding on to a simple binary expression due to dysphoria and societal pressures. lately have done musing on things and decided my gender needs a DLC, and that i've been repressing the aspect of my life where i wanted to be an "effeminate man", or other words that are pretty much slurs that i don't want to and won't quote here. sounds harsh but little me didn't know better due to the environment i was raised in.

thus i stopped at the words bigender and androgyne. and at some point, when my body allows me to, i want to crossdress amplifying both my masculine traits and a feminine frame.

for now, that part of me remains solely online, hence also the feminine name and typically masculine pronouns and terms used.

i also do want to set an example that crossdressing is not just a fetish, it shouldn't be seen as only that and that it can be a part of someone's gender identity

outside of the musing, i sometimes draw or play on my 3DS or steam deck, although most of the time i lack the right energy to do so due to being in recovery. feel free to ask me for my pretendo friendcode! maybe we can play smash bros or mario kart.

i'm autistic, and got C-PTSD and probably some PTSD going on. that might explain some of my behaviors.

one day i should get back to making websites. i used to be somewhat active in indie web circles, but withdrew over time for mostly personal reasons.

Took myself down the coast today for some self care.

I've started very seriously thinking about where I'd be happy to live in the future and how I'm going to handle the ongoing attacks on trans rights in the UK. I really want to remain in the UK, with my first choice being north east England, followed by Scotland.

Failing this, I may consider the Channel Islands, with a *very* last resort being ROI.

I'm also going to look into eventually becoming an Irish citizen (thru ancestry) and eventually have dual UK and Irish citizenship.

Life's hard and scary right now. And I think it might be for years to come.

So Wednesday was meant to be a day of celebration - I started trauma therapy and submitted my final 2 assessments for my retail course. Once I've officially passed the course, I'll be done with studying and finally free!

But thanks to the UK Supreme Court, it became a day of self care. Of course, we don't know what this ruling means in theory or practise, and I won't be the primary target given I'm a trans masc who 'passes' as male, but it's a disappointing and sad day for the UK.

I very much want to make sure I'm not buying into speculation or panic, so I have needed a day to just decompress. I've got absolutely no plans to go back to living as female, and I know better than to care what my government thinks about my gender or if I'm 'legal' or whatever, but it's sad to see things regress.
