I own the first version of Catacombs which was fun but felt like it needed work, especially in the artwork field.
It's great that the game has kept going and has continued to evolve (and look much better)

Playing Slay The Spire: The Board Game as The Defect. Defeated the Slime Boss, which causes a Large Slime, Acid Slime, and Spike Slime to spawn.
So of course, I hit them with a Blizzard+ with three Frost orbs and a Strength token for 12 damage each, killing them all on the first card play.
There's no kill quite like overkill! 😆

It's a family game, but has obvious wargame elements in it and, of course, has D I N O S A U R S in it. Cheap too for a boardgame. I finally had some time to try out the #earthborneRangers #LCG #boardGame and I don't know if it's a #game for me.
I see all the beauty of the writing and the systems interplaying but we needed three multi-hour attempts over several days to properly understand how to setup the game.
A 4 hour long play session past the tutorial didn't even let us start completing the quest.
I think the basic game loop [for quests] is just too long for me. Too many things to interact with.
