Currently I'm working on extending my #Ansible collection more specifically the ansible_podman role.

I'm extending my #podman role with plugins, so it will not only deploy but also configure the containerized application / service.

In that very process I'm also reworking those roles as the plugins just use the existing roles.

@Tom23 Même si j'aime bien #BorgBackup éventuellement accompagné de #BorgMatic (https://torsion.org/borgmatic/) je peux conseiller de regarder #Restic (https://restic.net).

Il paraît que c'est #worldbackupday Alors pour un portable et un fixe sous Fedora, j'ai :
deux disques mécaniques en raid1 sur le fixe, un disque externe USB et un espace de stockage en ligne chez Hetzner. Et je copie régulièrement le /home des deux machines sur ces trois supports avec un script #borgmatic.
Et je fais confiance (peut-être à tort) aux vérifs automatiques de borg pour la fiabilité des backups.

Danke für den Hinweis - genau das ist meine Baustelle. Exclude caches ist in meiner #borgmatic config schon immer aktiv gewesen. Ich habe eine #python #curses "shell" gebastelt die ich mit #ncdu benutze um überall CACHEDIR.TAG files zu erzeugen wo imho nötig. Da ich bekloppt bin und auf eine USB Platte gelegentlich noch zeug kopiere hab ich feststellen müssen dass #rsync diese leider ignoriert - was ein weiteres Helferlein umgeht indem es .rsync-filters daneben klatscht. #doof

@achim du hattest doch mal angefangen mit #borgmatic backups in S3 storages zu sichern glaube ich? Wie funktioniert das? Machst du damit backups von deiner privaten maschine? Ich ärgere mich gerade über die größe meines .config Verzeichnisses weil da unmengen von cache müll rum fliegt.
