#DavisCA created two car-free blocks early in the pandemic so that there could be emergency outdoor dining.
Now they claim pandemic is "over", the merchants have permanently annexed public property for their customers (and their customers only), and cyclists & wheelchair users are blocked despite it only supposed to be a car-free street.

Leaving my company's office in NYC, I see a long line of people in front of the wall street bull sculpture for selfies. Not unusual, but there was an equally long line in back of the bull, to get selfies with the bull's ass.
